Acetabular fractures are a rare and serious injury to the hip joint that mainly affects young patients, which can generate complications at short, medium and long term. It usually occurs from high-energy trauma, and associated injuries are common. We present the case of a 27-year-old male patient, with a previous health history, treated at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City after suffering a traffic accident and presenting a posterior dislocation fracture of the right hip, which was operated on and followed for more than 10 weeks. We decided to present the case due to the complexity of the surgical procedure required for its treatment.
