The patient did not present any complications during her hospital stay, so her discharge was decided and she was scheduled for outpatient consultation with the results of the ovarian biopsy. She returned two months later with an anatomopathological result that reported "chronic granulomatous inflammation with caseous necrosis suggestive of infection." "mycobacterial" For this reason, it was decided to start antifungal treatment and transfer to the infectious disease service for surveillance and management. The patient is currently under treatment, without complications or reinfection. A review is carried out on the topic and the diagnostic probabilities and management performed worldwide are discussed.
