Abstract

Migraine headaches are one of the most common problems seen in the emergency room and in the doctors’ clinic. What is migraine?
The World Federation of Neurology states it as such: “Migraine is a familial disorder characterized by recurrent attacks of headache
widely variable in intensity, frequency and duration. Attacks are commonly unilateral and are usually associated with anorexia,
nausea and vomiting.”
